Memory is always a issue in case of mobile or smart phone. Nowadays phones are coming with much internal storage memory but still old smart phones, mobiles have issues like memory shortage. To effectively handle this problem, the only thing we can do with android is to move apps to sd card. We can move apps and free up some phone memory to enhance smartphone, mobile performance.
There are some applications that detects that which apps are movable from phone memory to sd card(i.e. appsaver). But it can be moved to sd card only and only if application developer has enabled that feature. Otherwise you can’t move your large size games or apps to sd card. Download AppMgr
After installing it, go to last tab and check which apps can be moved to sd card. Move those which are movable.

If you are a android user you might be aware of warning shown in screenshots. Many old android phones are having internal memory of only 181 MB and Google maps, Gtalk, Gmail, Navigation etc. applications are already installed in it. After subtracting other internal memory usage by phone, you are left with only 80-100mb of memory to install 3rd party applications.
Only 80-100 mb of applications to install and that too from 10 million of applications worldwide, not fair enough. Sometimes phone also starts working slower as we go on installing apps because they are stored on phone memory only. So Performance is also 1 of the issue. There has to be some way with android to move all apps to sd card.
So, sorry to keep you waiting for a long. There are 2 ways which you can try. First is by using 3rd party application and 2nd by using adb of android sdk. I recommend you to try first option first and later go for 2nd to find answer for “how to move apps to external sd card”.
How to move apps to sd card using AppMgr

Move apps to external sd card and set installation location as sd card
Here, I found out a way to to the problem “unable to move apps”. You can move apps including large games, applications and even you can specify that now on wards you can set sd card as default installation location.

Follow the below steps:
(1) Download the files I uploaded here. Download adb utility
(2) Extract the nev.zip folder, open command prompt and navigate to that folder. (Make sure there are 3 files in that downloaded folder)
(3) Now Insert USB cable and connect your phone. Put your phone into development mode by clicking on Settings –> Applications –> Development –> USB Debugging.

Adb is a bridge for developers to work out bugs in their Android applications. This is done by connecting a device that runs the software through a PC, and feeding it terminal commands. Adb lets you modify your device (or device’s software) via a PC command line.
(4) Now execute following commands.
adb devices
//to check whether your phone is connected or not
adb shell pm get-install-location
//It will give default location(0:Auto,1:phone memory,2:External SD card)
adb shell pm set-install-location 2
//It will set the default location for apps to External SD card.

Enjoy, Now your new apps from Google play will be installed in SD card. And also you can be able to move your existing apps from phone memory to SD card.

(5) Go to Settings –> Applications –> Manage Applications. Go to “On sd card apps” as shown below.

The checked apps are already on SD card. Unchecked apps shows that it is currently in phone memory and can be moved to sd card. Simply click on unckecked app and press Move to SD Card button and app will be moved to Sd card.
